Previously Fade to Black
I am haunted by my inability to recall key details of persons I knew in the past. The color of their eyes, their lips, their touch. This painting appeared on this website previously...I thought it was done. But as it stared back at me from my studio walls I began to hate it more and more. So I stripped off the varnish, added more collage, ink and charcoal, and began to paint again.
