This set of three limited edition prints reflects the quiet anticipation found along the beaches of the Algarve—that suspended hour when the light is soft, the air is salted with promise, and the day has not yet fully begun.

The first print features a solitary lifeguard stand rising above untouched sand, its clean geometry set against an expansive horizon. 

In the second, a fishing boat rests on the shore, pulled high onto the sand after dawn’s labor. Its presence speaks of tradition and livelihood, of tides and generations, grounding the collection in the authentic rhythm of coastal life.

The third captures a neatly arranged umbrella and lounge chairs awaiting their first occupants. Ordered yet inviting, they hint at leisure and ritual.

Based on my large-scale painting, created on a plywood cradle board, each captures a familiar scene with crisp lines and areas of exposed wood grain, offering a contemporary interpretation of the shore.
